About the role
We are seeking a proactive Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our room‑attendant team in delivering the high standards of cleanliness and service expected by our guests. Reporting to the Assistant Housekeeping Manager, you will ensure daily operations run smoothly while fostering a supportive environment for your colleagues.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and supervise Room Attendants to maintain service standards and overall cleanliness.
- Handle guest concerns promptly, log issues, and notify relevant departments.
- Participate in daily briefings, warm‑ups, and department meetings.
- Communicate daily priorities to attendants and ensure they are well‑informed.
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and development to boost morale.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Front Office, and Food & Beverage teams.
- Follow departmental policies, report maintenance items, and adhere to safety and sanitation procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required profile
- Proficient in English (verbal & written).
- High school diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary hospitality education preferred.
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in hotel housekeeping.
- Strong organizational, supervisory, and communication abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure, make quick decisions, and maintain attention to detail.
Required skills
- Experience with Hotel Property Management Systems (e.g., Micros‑Fidelio).
- Familiarity with Opera or similar PMS.
- Proven computer skills.
