Housekeeping Team Leader – Holiday Inn Resort Dead Sea

About the role

We are looking for a Housekeeping Team Leader to oversee the daily cleaning operations at the Holiday Inn Resort Dead Sea. Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, you will ensure rooms and public areas meet IHG standards and deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of room attendants and housekeeping staff.
• Inspect guest rooms, corridors, pantries and other areas for cleanliness and presentation.
• Monitor room status and work closely with Front Office and Engineering to guarantee timely room turnover.
• Handle guest requests and housekeeping issues promptly and professionally.
• Train, coach and support team members to maintain high performance.
• Conduct daily briefings and communicate operational priorities.
• Track productivity, attendance, grooming and compliance with hotel policies.
• Report maintenance defects, safety hazards and equipment issues and follow up until resolved.
• Maintain stock levels of linen, guest supplies and cleaning materials.
• Support special projects, deep‑cleaning programmes and other hotel initiatives.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of housekeeping experience in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory or team‑lead role.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations and IHG quality standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and a passion for guest satisfaction.
• Good leadership, coaching and team‑management abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills.
• Familiarity with hotel housekeeping systems.
