Infrastructure Architect

About the role

The Infrastructure Architect will design and govern Arab Bank’s end‑to‑end infrastructure solutions, ensuring they are secure, scalable, resilient, and aligned with the bank’s business and technology strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Design comprehensive infrastructure architectures covering compute, storage, virtualization, networking, and disaster recovery.
• Define and enforce architecture standards, reference models, and ensure compliance with enterprise and security policies.
• Review and approve infrastructure designs for projects, assessing scalability, performance, and operational readiness.
• Evaluate emerging infrastructure technologies, conduct proof‑of‑concepts, and recommend migration strategies.
• Create architecture diagrams and design documentation while collaborating with security, operations, application, and project teams throughout the solution lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of infrastructure experience, including architecture or senior engineering roles.
• Experience in banking or financial services is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as VMware VCP or Red Hat Certified Architect are desirable.
