Inventory Officer

About the role

The Inventory Officer supports day-to-day warehouse and inventory activities, keeping stock records accurate and ensuring timely receiving and dispatch of items. The role helps prevent stock discrepancies, keeps fast-moving products available and supports smooth operations across Floward's supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of stock movements, product codes and system entries, and reconcile work orders to ensure material and product accuracy.
• Track inbound and outbound orders to avoid overstock or stock-outs, and escalate discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
• Assist in receiving incoming items, checking quantities and quality against purchase requests, and coordinate with procurement and warehouse staff.
• Check date-sensitive products for expiration and help remove or transfer them; report damages or losses to the supervisor.
• Prepare daily and weekly stock balance and stagnancy reports, and help generate inventory reports for management.
• Track basic operational KPIs such as stock accuracy, returns and defective items.
• Follow inventory and warehouse procedures, comply with occupational safety and health guidelines, and help file claims for defective or returned products.
• Support Category, Sales and Procurement teams on product availability and timely order fulfilment.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
• 1-2 years of experience in inventory or warehouse operations, preferably in retail or e-commerce.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and time management.
• Bilingual English and Arabic preferred.

Required skills

• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic reporting.
