IT Enterprise Analytics Specialist

About the role

A leading global pharmaceutical company is looking for an experienced Data/BI Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms that enable analytics, reporting, and data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and serving structured and semi‑structured data using Python and distributed processing frameworks.
• Develop analytical data models (dimensional, star/snowflake schemas) optimized for reporting and self‑service analytics.
• Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver trusted datasets, metrics, and BI solutions.
• Produce clear technical documentation covering data models, transformation logic, and pipeline designs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, data engineering or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of BI development experience and 3+ years of cloud‑based BI development.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into maintainable data solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.

Required skills

• Python for data engineering and analytics.
• SQL and analytical query optimization.
• Data warehousing concepts (ETL/ELT, fact and dimension modeling).
• Cloud data platforms, preferably Azure.
• BI tools, preferably Power BI.
• Version control systems (Git, Perforce, SVN) and CI/CD concepts.
