IT Infrastructure Systems Associate

About the role

We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Systems Associate with 1‑3 years of experience to deliver first‑ and second‑level support, maintain Windows and Linux server environments, and assist senior staff on infrastructure projects. The role combines hands‑on technical work with strong customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑ and second‑level IT support via phone, email, chat, or in‑person.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues across Windows, macOS, and Office 365.
• Assist with Windows Server and Linux OS administration, including user management, permissions, backups, and updates.
• Install, configure, and maintain laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy in a Windows Server environment.
• Document incidents and resolutions in a ticketing system (e.g., Workflow, K2).
• Support network troubleshooting for LAN/WAN, VPN, and Wi‑Fi.
• Assist with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper‑V.
• Educate end users on IT best practices and security policies.
• Collaborate with senior IT staff on infrastructure projects.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in system administration or IT support.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) administration.
• Linux server administration.
• Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, AD Connect, and Group Policy.
• PowerShell scripting.
• Office 365 administration.
• Ticketing systems and ITIL processes.
• Basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls).
• Remote desktop support tools (SCCM, Microsoft Intune, RDP).
• Virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V).
