Java FinTech Team Leader

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Java FinTech Team Leader to guide a group of developers in building innovative financial technology solutions. You will oversee the full software development lifecycle, ensure high‑quality delivery, and mentor team members to continuously improve.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of Java developers on FinTech projects, setting technical direction and priorities.
• Design and architect software solutions that meet business and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and provide technical guidance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Manage the development lifecycle from planning through deployment and maintenance.
• Monitor team performance, promote continuous improvement, and stay updated on industry trends.

Required profile

• 8+ years of Java development experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of financial services and FinTech trends.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor software development teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
