Junior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to support our Finance team. The role focuses on Accounts Receivable, invoicing, collections, VAT compliance and financial reporting, offering a solid foundation for a career in accounting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and issue customer invoices accurately and on time.
• Approve and post invoices and related journal entries in the accounting system.
• Monitor outstanding balances, follow up overdue payments and support timely collections.
• Maintain customer account records, resolve billing discrepancies and reconcile accounts.
• Review and approve sales orders before invoicing to ensure compliance.
• Produce AR aging reports, analyze overdue accounts and forecast collections.
• Assist with VAT return preparation, submission and tax audit support.
• Provide documentation and analysis for internal and external audits.
• Contribute to process improvements and internal control enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in accounting, finance or accounts receivable (fresh graduates are welcome).
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work cross‑functionally.

Required skills

• Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of accounts receivable processes, invoicing, collections and reconciliations.
• Familiarity with VAT regulations and tax compliance requirements.
