Lead Data Analyst – Fintech

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Lead Data Analyst to drive data‑analysis initiatives across our Fintech organization. You will turn transactional and operational data into strategic insights that influence senior leadership decisions and support revenue protection, optimization, and data‑monetization efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead company‑wide data analysis projects covering payments, wallets, collections, and customer behavior.
• Define, monitor and report on core Fintech KPIs such as transactions, revenue, failures, recovery rates and customer lifecycle metrics.
• Identify revenue leakage and operational gaps, proposing data‑backed solutions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Product, Risk, Finance and IT/Core Systems to implement data‑driven changes.
• Oversee analysis of high‑volume financial and transactional datasets.
• Design and review executive dashboards and management reports.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency and alignment with business logic.
• Support audits, compliance and regulatory data requests.
• Mentor junior analysts, enforce best practices and contribute to data‑governance standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Finance or a related field.
• 5‑7 years of experience in data analytics, preferably in Fintech, Banking or Payments.
• Expert‑level SQL skills, preferably with Oracle.
• Strong understanding of wallets, payment flows, cash‑in/cash‑out, reconciliation and collections.
• Hands‑on experience with large transactional datasets and BI tools.
• Ability to translate complex data into executive‑level insights.
