Lead Mechanical Design and Engineering Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Mechanical Design professional to drive innovation and deliver high‑quality mechanical engineering solutions. In this permanent, onsite position you will mentor a design team, manage complex projects from concept to completion, and support the company’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and review project requirements from Sales to ensure technical completeness before design starts.
• Assign daily tasks to the design team, monitor progress, and prioritize work against deadlines.
• Supervise development of technical solutions that meet client specifications.
• Review load calculations, system selections, drawings, BOQs, take‑off sheets, and technical proposals before approval.
• Prepare and update take‑off sheets, tracking material and equipment changes.
• Coordinate with Sales, Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Operations for smooth project execution.
• Support Sales in technical meetings, presentations, and complex project discussions.
• Provide technical support during implementation and ensure design updates reflect required changes.
• Monitor design quality and compliance with approved standards.
• Guide, train, and improve the technical performance of team members.
• Produce regular technical and operational reports on project progress.

Required profile

• 7–9 years of experience designing HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Proven experience supervising design teams and reviewing technical outputs.
• Strong background in preparing calculations, drawings, BOQs, take‑off sheets, and technical proposals.
• Experience coordinating with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain throughout project stages.
• Ability to track technical modifications and reflect them accurately in documentation.

• AutoCAD
• Load calculation software (HAP or Elite)
• Revit MEP (preferred)
• Microsoft Office applications
• Proficiency with computers and relevant office systems
