Lifeguard – Full Time

About the role

Join Marriott International as a full‑time Lifeguard responsible for ensuring the safety and enjoyment of guests at our pool facility in Jordan. You will monitor swimmers, respond to emergencies, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Observe swimmers and use appropriate rescue techniques when assistance is needed.
• Monitor the pool area for hazardous conditions, unsafe activities, and guests in distress.
• Enforce facility rules and promote a safe, fun atmosphere.
• Provide first‑aid assistance to injured guests until emergency services arrive.
• Maintain pool deck cleanliness, including washing, mopping, and towel handling.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
• Uphold company policies, confidentiality, and asset protection.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb unassisted.
• Clear, professional communication skills.
• Commitment to treating guests and coworkers with dignity and respect.
