Lifeguard

About the role

Join Marriott International’s pool team in Amman as a Lifeguard. You will ensure the safety of guests while creating a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere at our recreation facility.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor swimmers, identify distress, and apply appropriate rescue techniques.
• Enforce pool rules, report unsafe conditions, and assist guests with disabilities.
• Provide first‑aid care and support injured guests until emergency services arrive.
• Maintain cleanliness of the pool deck, towels, and surrounding areas.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
• Uphold company policies, confidentiality, and professional appearance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• CPR certification and First Aid certification.
• Ability to stand, walk or jog for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb unassisted.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑service mindset.
