About the role
The World Food Programme is seeking a Logistics Coordination and Partnership Officer (CST II) to support its Logistics Cluster in Amman. This consultant will help coordinate humanitarian logistics operations and strengthen partnerships with other agencies during large‑scale emergencies.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate logistics activities within the WFP‑led Logistics Cluster.
- Facilitate partnership and information sharing among humanitarian agencies.
- Support the planning and implementation of logistics operations for emergency response.
- Assist in monitoring and reporting on logistics performance and challenges.
- Contribute to the development of logistics strategies and standard operating procedures.
Required profile
- Relevant experience in humanitarian logistics and coordination.
- Ability to work with diverse, multi‑skilled logistics teams.
- Strong understanding of logistics challenges in complex emergencies.
