Main Accountant

About the role

The Main Accountant will oversee daily financial operations, prepare financial statements, conduct bank reconciliations and support internal audits. The role requires strong interpersonal skills and solid business acumen.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting transactions, invoicing and collections using Clear Soft.
• Compile, analyze and present financial statements and periodic reports.
• Handle budgeting, cost control and financial forecasting.
• Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations.
• Prepare tax documents and ensure compliance with local tax and statutory regulations.
• Create ad‑hoc financial and operational reports to aid business decisions.
• Coordinate cyclical internal audits and maintain proper financial documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in customs clearance, shipping or logistics.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software, specifically Clear Soft.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of customs duties, tax regulations and clearance‑related invoicing.
