About the role
The Maintenance Technician responds to guest repair requests, performs preventive maintenance, and ensures all hotel facilities operate safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Attend to guest repair requests, communicate solutions, and document daily activities for shift hand‑over.
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and landscaping fixtures.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, including painting, drywall, and minor carpentry.
- Maintain inventory, requisition parts, and use lockout/tagout procedures before work.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Some experience in general maintenance, surface preparation, painting, or hotel engineering.
- Valid driver’s license.
Required skills
- Air‑conditioning and refrigeration knowledge.
- Electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and pneumatic/electronic systems.
- Carpentry, painting, drywall repair, and landscaping.
- Lockout/Tagout safety procedures.
