Multi-Property Purchasing Agent

About the role

We are seeking a Multi‑Property Purchasing Agent to manage food inventory and procurement across our hotel properties in Amman. The role ensures accurate ordering, receipt, and documentation while supporting food safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate food inventory figures, orders and costs; maintain organized records and file invoices.
• Post invoices using computer programs and reconcile shipping invoices with receiving reports.
• Conduct inventory audits, complete requisition forms, monitor PAR levels and notify supervisors of low stock.
• Receive, unload and process deliveries; reject damaged or incorrect items and manage vendor return processes.
• Adhere to food safety, handling policies and quality‑assurance standards.
• Report accidents, complete safety training and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Communicate professionally, answer phones courteously and support team goals.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb, moving in confined spaces and standing for extended periods.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one year of related purchasing or inventory experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer‑based inventory and invoicing systems.
