Operations Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an Operations Accountant to monitor trade offers, spending and related accounts, ensuring accurate recording and reporting of customer checks and collections within the Accounts Receivable portfolio. The role supports price‑structure management, supplier invoicing and cash‑flow optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and obtain approval for suppliers’ price structures and monitor price setup and landed costs.
• Issue sales price lists and adjust costs, raising debit and credit notes as required.
• Maintain control over supplier claimable amounts, ensure timely debiting and follow up collections to maximise cash flow.
• Reconcile receivable and payable accounts against supplier statements.
• Implement SOP‑based controls for spending, budget compliance and supplier contributions.
• Process trade offers in JDE to align invoicing with monthly pricing and offers.
• Allocate receipts and settle due debit notes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in accounting, preferably with exposure to accounts receivable/payable.
• Familiarity with standard operating procedures and financial reporting.

Required skills

• JD Edwards (ERP) proficiency.
