Pricing Engineer – Electro‑Mechanical & Solar Projects

About the role

The Pricing Engineer will support the preparation, analysis, and review of cost estimates and pricing documents for electro‑mechanical plant and solar power station projects. This contract position is hybrid, combining on‑site work in Amman with partial remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and validate technical and commercial data for project pricing.
• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and cost breakdowns.
• Assist in the preparation of bids, proposals, and adjudication documents.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure pricing reflects accurate designs and specifications.
• Update cost databases, track pricing trends, and maintain organized records.
• Support negotiations with suppliers and contractors by providing technical price comparisons.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality and documentation standards.

Required profile

• Strong background in electro‑mechanical engineering, preferably with experience in plants, utilities, or solar projects.
• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing cost estimates, BOQs, and pricing sheets.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Experience coordinating with engineering, procurement, and project management teams.
• Solid analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with tendering, adjudication processes, and basic contract principles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a hybrid environment.
