Procurement Specialist

About the role

Talabat is seeking a Procurement Specialist to source goods and services that deliver the best value in terms of quality and price. You will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to support project requirements across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal pricing and terms.
• Track orders, resolve price disputes, and manage contract preparation.
• Develop and maintain a market provider list for new products and services.
• Produce monthly procurement reports focused on cost‑saving initiatives.
• Evaluate bids, recommend selections based on commercial and technical criteria, and process payments with finance.
• Manage travel arrangements, visa processes, and transportation logistics for employees in Egypt.
• Oversee internal branding projects, conference organization, and the design and production of Talabat Rider Kits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in procurement, sourcing or supply‑chain management.
• Strong knowledge of local supplier markets in Jordan and proven negotiation abilities.
• Experience with CAPEX & OPEX procurement, contract management and supplier relationship management.
• Ability to work in cross‑functional environments and manage multiple stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as MSD365, SAP or Oracle.
