Project Analyst – Local Economic Development (LED)

About the role
The Project Analyst (LED) will support the UNDP Jordan LED Programme, which aims to strengthen local governance, promote inclusive economic opportunities, and improve service delivery for host communities and refugees in northern Jordan.
Key responsibilities
- Assist municipalities and governorates in identifying, planning and implementing inter‑municipal capital investment projects.
- Support Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and foster public‑private partnerships.
- Monitor programme implementation, collect and analyse data, and prepare regular progress reports.
- Coordinate with the European Union, UNV and other UNDP units to ensure alignment with the programme’s objectives.
- Contribute to the development of policies and tools that enhance local economic development and social cohesion.
Required profile
- Relevant experience in project management, local development or governance.
- Demonstrated ability to work with municipal authorities, NGOs and private‑sector partners.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Commitment to gender equality, environmental sustainability and the 2030 Agenda.
