Project Manager – Irrigation Network Rehabilitation

About the role

Hussein Atieh & Sons Co. (HAE) is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the Rehabilitation of Irrigation Networks for the Ghor Al‑Safi / Jordan Valley project. The role involves overseeing all phases of the project, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, budget and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage overall project execution, coordinating engineering, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Lead and supervise project staff, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, technical specifications, QA/QC procedures and HSE standards.
• Liaise with the Employer, Engineer, government authorities and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and submit schedules, progress reports, KPI reports and contractual documentation.
• Control project costs, variations, claims and oversee close‑out activities.
• Guarantee successful testing, commissioning and final handover of completed works.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 20 years of professional experience, including at least 10 years as a Project Manager on water supply, wastewater, irrigation or Treated Sewage Effluent projects.
• Proven experience managing infrastructure projects from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of project management, contract administration, budgeting, scheduling and risk management.
• Good understanding of FIDIC Conditions of Contract and international engineering standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and team management skills.
• Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
