QC Team Lead

About the role

The QC Team Lead is a hands‑on quality control professional responsible for both manual and automated testing activities. Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Lead ensures that all delivered products meet established quality standards and drives successful User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for each project.

Key responsibilities

• Design, write, and execute manual test cases covering functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end scenarios.
• Perform exploratory, smoke, and sanity testing to validate builds before release.
• Architect, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts; run automated suites daily.
• Prepare and deliver testing artifacts such as test plans, traceability matrices, execution reports, and defect reports.
• Own the full UAT cycle: planning, test case creation, environment setup, execution, and sign‑off.
• Log, manage, and retest defects; collaborate with development teams to reproduce and resolve issues.
• Mentor and train junior to senior QC engineers on testing techniques and automation tools.
• Participate in all software development lifecycle phases, from requirements analysis to test sign‑off.
