Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

The Quality Assurance Engineer will ensure that all supplied materials and services meet the strict quality standards required by our oil and gas clients. Working closely with vendors, project teams and end‑users, you will manage documentation, inspections and corrective actions throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Verify and compile supplier documentation (factory accreditations, material certifications, procedures) and submit to end‑users within required timeframes.
• Maintain and update the project Documents Log, recording revisions, approvals and codes to guarantee traceability.
• Coordinate third‑party inspections, execute inspection test plans, and arrange certification to satisfy import regulations.
• Register and manage customer claims in the ERP system, perform root‑cause analysis (e.g., fishbone diagrams) and drive corrective actions.
• Prepare project close‑out packages, ensuring all deliverables and reports are complete and compliant.
• Review and revise existing policies and procedures to align with ISO quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality assurance within procurement or supply‑chain environments.
• Strong understanding of documentation control and compliance processes.
• Ability to work with vendors and cross‑functional teams to resolve quality issues.
• Familiarity with root‑cause analysis techniques and claim management.
