Recreational Services Associate

About the role

The Recreational Services Associate supports the daily operations of the Morale Welfare & Recreation (MWR) center, lounge/bar, learning resource center, theater, media center, and information ticket and tours services. This position ensures a welcoming environment for guests while handling cash, inventory, and basic facility maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cashier, customer service, and bartending duties across all recreational venues.
• Maintain cleanliness, conduct basic repairs, and manage inventory of supplies, equipment, and alcoholic beverages.
• Set up and break down government‑furnished equipment for events, including tables, chairs, audio systems, and stages.
• Provide complimentary snacks, manage bottled‑water stocking, and ensure safe, sanitary conditions.
• Track and issue CAC equipment to guests, and maintain accurate records.
• Complete required Vectrus and Government training and adhere to time‑reporting procedures.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to interact professionally with diverse guests.
• Attention to detail for inventory control, cash handling, and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to follow safety, security, and escort procedures as outlined in relevant regulations.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
