Restaurant Supervisor

About the role

The Restaurant Supervisor ensures that staff work together as a team to deliver optimal service and meet guest needs. This full‑time position involves opening and closing duties, inventory management, and maintaining a safe, welcoming dining environment.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect staff grooming, attire and rectify deficiencies.
• Perform opening and closing tasks, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the premises.
• Monitor storage areas for organization, FIFO usage and cleanliness.
• Conduct scheduled inventories, stock requisitions and maintain supply levels.
• Oversee dining room seating, service quality, safety and guest well‑being.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and coaching employees.
• Report accidents, unsafe conditions and complete required safety training.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related food‑and‑beverage experience.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Capability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and navigate stairs or ramps.
