Senior Accounts Receivable Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our Finance Department in Amman. The role will lead the full AR cycle, ensure timely collections and support accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the full Accounts Receivable (AR) cycle.
• Monitor customer accounts and ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.
• Review and reconcile AR aging reports regularly.
• Follow up on overdue accounts and coordinate with Sales/Operations teams.
• Prepare periodic AR reports for management.
• Handle customer disputes and billing discrepancies professionally.
• Ensure accurate posting of receipts and journal entries.
• Perform monthly closing activities related to receivables.
• Assist in audit requirements and provide necessary documentation.
• Improve AR processes and internal controls to enhance efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5–7+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably in the Insurance sector.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent reconciliation and analytical skills.
