Senior AI Product Engineer (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior AI Product Engineer to lead the end‑to‑end delivery of AI‑powered products for a major government transformation initiative in Abu Dhabi. You will design retrieval pipelines, agent‑based workflows, backend services, and user interfaces that power intelligent public‑service applications.

Key responsibilities

• Own AI product features from concept through production, ensuring reliability and trust.
• Design and implement Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, including data ingestion, embeddings, vector search and reranking.
• Develop agent‑based workflows with tool use, planning and multi‑step reasoning.
• Build reusable AI components and integration libraries for multiple products.
• Create modern front‑end experiences using React and Next.js with streaming responses.
• Develop backend APIs in Python, Java/Kotlin or Node.js and work with PostgreSQL, Redis, DocumentDB, Azure Blob Storage and vector databases such as pgvector or Qdrant.
• Instrument AI systems with Langfuse and Grafana for tracing and observability.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.

Required profile

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with full‑stack delivery.
• Proven track record shipping end‑to‑end AI product features.
• Strong product judgment and ability to make technical decisions that impact production systems.
