Senior Communication Trainer (Non-Key Expert)

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Senior Communication Trainer to join a pool of Non-Key Experts supporting a 36‑month EU outreach project across the Middle East, North Africa and the Gulf. The expert will provide strategic, technical and logistical communication support, designing and delivering capacity‑building programmes for DG MENA.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver communication and media training programmes, workshops and seminars.
• Develop training materials, toolkits, presentations and practical exercises tailored to diverse audiences.
• Conduct capacity‑building sessions on strategic communication, media engagement and digital communication.
• Facilitate interactive workshops, group discussions and simulation exercises.
• Assess participants' learning needs and adapt content accordingly.
• Evaluate training outcomes, prepare post‑training reports and recommendations.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to communication professionals and institutional stakeholders.
• Support the creation of sustainable learning resources and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in communication/media or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven facilitation skills.
• Fluency in English and French and/or Arabic as relevant.
• Minimum 5 years of general experience in communication/media.
• At least 3 years of specific experience designing and delivering training seminars.
