Senior DevOps Engineer – Jordan

About the role

INGOT is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead and refine its DevOps strategy in Jordan. You will drive automation, integration and reliability across cloud, container, and data platforms while mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and GitOps using ArgoCD for Kubernetes deployments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, CloudFormation and Ansible.
• Manage and optimize AWS services (VPC, IAM, EC2, EKS, RDS, MSK, ElastiCache, Route53) focusing on security and cost.
• Deploy and operate Amazon EKS workloads using Helm, Kustomize and Karpenter, ensuring autoscaling and consistent configuration.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, Graylog and OpsGenie.
• Support database platforms (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redshift) for high availability and disaster recovery.
• Handle edge and application security via Cloudflare and enforce secrets management and IAM governance.
• Investigate incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and participate in on‑call rotation.
• Collaborate across teams to improve processes and maintain technical documentation.
