Senior HR & Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

Tafakkur is seeking a senior HR & Talent Acquisition Specialist to own the full recruitment lifecycle and shape people practices across the organization. This hands‑on position will support a fast‑growing, mission‑driven team in Amman and requires a proactive, organized professional who can balance strategic initiatives with day‑to‑day HR operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end talent acquisition, from job definition and sourcing to interviewing, offers and onboarding.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines and represent Tafakkur at job fairs and university events.
• Design and manage performance review cycles, goal‑setting frameworks and development conversations.
• Contribute to organizational design, workforce planning and maintain up‑to‑date job descriptions.
• Plan team engagement activities, off‑sites and culture‑building initiatives.
• Maintain HR records, contracts, onboarding/off‑boarding processes and policy compliance.
• Support employer branding efforts and act as a trusted point of contact for employee queries.

Required profile

• 4–7 years of HR experience with strong talent acquisition and generalist exposure.
• Proven ability to manage recruitment independently from sourcing to offer.
• Experience with performance management processes and organizational design.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; fluent in Arabic and English.
• Highly organized, proactive and able to juggle multiple priorities.
• Startup or fast‑growth environment experience is a plus.
