Senior Network Lead (Cisco)

About the role

99brightminds is looking for an experienced Senior Network Lead (Cisco) to lead the design, operation, optimization and modernization of a large-scale enterprise network environment. The successful candidate ensures secure, reliable and high-performing network services while driving strategic infrastructure initiatives and providing technical leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, support and continuous improvement of enterprise network infrastructure across LAN, WAN and data center environments.
• Manage and optimize Cisco routing and switching technologies for secure, scalable and high-performing operations.
• Drive network transformation and modernization, including infrastructure upgrades, technology refresh programs and lifecycle management.
• Ensure high availability, resilience and disaster recovery readiness through robust architecture and redundancy planning.
• Monitor network performance, plan capacity and lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of complex issues.
• Implement and maintain network security best practices with infrastructure and security teams.
• Oversee firmware upgrades, maintenance planning and operational governance.
• Design and implement network automation solutions to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Mentor engineering and operations teams and maintain standards, documentation and governance.

Required profile

• 10+ years of relevant professional experience in enterprise networking.
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders in English at B1 level or higher.
