Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

First Tech is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to lead quality initiatives across its digital platforms. You will work closely with product managers and engineers to embed quality into every stage of development, leveraging AI‑powered testing tools to accelerate delivery and ensure reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive a comprehensive quality strategy throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to embed quality practices from concept to release.
• Leverage AI‑powered testing tools for test design, automation, and defect analysis while maintaining full test coverage.
• Design, review, and maintain both automated and manual test cases based on functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Plan and execute functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing.
• Validate AI‑generated test cases, automation scripts, and testing outcomes for accuracy and reliability.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Continuously improve test automation frameworks, quality processes, and release readiness.
• Analyze product quality metrics and provide actionable insights to enhance reliability and user experience.
• Mentor QA team members and promote engineering excellence, quality best practices, and AI‑driven testing methodologies.
• Evaluate emerging AI tools, testing frameworks, and industry best practices to boost productivity and software quality.
• Produce and maintain clear test documentation, quality standards, and testing procedures.
• Own product quality from feature planning through production release and post‑release validation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 4–8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering.
• Experience working in an AI‑assisted testing environment using modern AI‑powered QA and automation tools.
• Strong ability to review, validate, and refine AI‑generated test cases, automation scripts, and test results.
• Proven experience designing and executing comprehensive test suites for complex software systems.
