Senior Social Media Executive

About the role

Chain Reaction, an award‑winning digital marketing agency, is seeking a Senior Social Media Executive to lead the execution of social media strategies for its regional clients. You will shape content plans, oversee editorial calendars, and ensure a consistent brand voice across all platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Lead content ideation and develop detailed content plans in collaboration with the Social Media Manager.
• Oversee creation and finalisation of monthly editorial calendars, ensuring strategic alignment and visual accuracy.
• Plan, schedule, and publish posts on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and other platforms, maintaining timely delivery.
• Manage community interactions, respond to engagements, and uphold a positive online presence.
• Produce monthly performance reports, extract data, analyse results and provide actionable recommendations.
• Maintain trackers for deliverables and support day‑to‑day tasks of the social media team.
• Stay current with emerging trends, especially on TikTok, and integrate them into content strategies.
• Assist the video production team with shoot setups, styling and props to align video assets with social media goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of agency experience managing social media, with a strong focus on content creation and strategy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to create, schedule and optimise content across multiple platforms.
• Experience in performance reporting, data extraction and analysis.
• Familiarity with basic video production and editing.
