Senior Structural BIM Engineer

About the role

MAX Consulting Engineers is seeking an experienced Senior Structural BIM Engineer to lead BIM delivery for concrete and steel structures in Amman, Jordan.

Key responsibilities

• Lead structural BIM delivery, coordinate model and drawing deliverables, and manage multidisciplinary clash detection using Navisworks.
• Review and manage Revit structural models, shop drawings, reinforcement detailing, and construction documentation.
• Perform BIM QA/QC, model reviews, issue tracking, and support BIM automation with Dynamo, Python, pyRevit or the Revit API.
• Mentor BIM modelers, manage BIM workflows through ACC and cloud collaboration, and coordinate with engineers, consultants, and contractors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in structural BIM, detailing, and coordination.
• Strong knowledge of concrete and steel structural systems, constructability, and shop drawing production.
• Proven leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Revit Structure and Navisworks Manage.
• Dynamo, Python, pyRevit, Revit API.
• BIM coordination, QA/QC, ACC/CDE workflows.
• Understanding of ISO 19650, IFC standards (optional).
