Showroom Sales Representative

About the role

Istatieh is a Jordanian family business in decoration and interior finishing, with a showroom in Al-Bayader, Amman offering materials from 36 international brands such as flooring, curtains, ceilings, wall cladding and paints. The role welcomes customers including homeowners, interior designers, engineers, contractors and developers, guides them to the right materials, prepares quotations and closes deals.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and advise showroom visitors on their space, style and needs, recommending the right products.
• Explain materials confidently, including flooring, curtains, ceilings, wall cladding, HPL and paints.
• Prepare accurate quotations from measurements and the price list, follow them up and close deals.
• Build long-term relationships with individual, company and project accounts and grow repeat and referral business.
• Take over qualified leads from customer care, record visits, quotations and outcomes in the CRM, and coordinate with design, warehouse and installation teams.
• Keep up with new products and market trends and share customer insights with marketing.
• Meet monthly sales targets.

Required profile

• At least 2 years in sales of interior finishing, decoration, building materials, furniture or a related field; showroom and B2B project experience is a strong plus.
• Proven record of closing deals and meeting targets, with strong negotiation skills.
• Excellent Arabic and good English, with a polished, confident presence.
• A degree in interior design, architecture, engineering or business is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong product knowledge and the ability to read drawings, take measurements and calculate quantities.
• Comfortable with Excel, quotation preparation and a CRM system.
