SOC Analyst Level 2 – Amman, Jordan

About the role

The Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst Level 2 will join a 24x7 security operations team in Amman. You will monitor security events, investigate incidents, and help improve the overall security posture of our clients across the MENA region.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the SIEM platform and triage security alerts around the clock.
• Respond to incidents, conduct forensic analysis, and support data recovery.
• Perform vulnerability scanning, threat research, and penetration testing.
• Configure and administer security tools and systems.
• Collaborate with IT teams to develop mitigation plans and document findings.
• Provide security recommendations and contribute to security policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT/Security operations or a SOC role.
• Relevant certifications such as Network+, CCNA R&S, Security+, CIHE, CEH, CPTE or equivalent are preferred.
• Knowledge of network devices (switches, routers, firewalls) and Microsoft Office suite.
