Solution Engineer Manager

About the role

Join SITA’s border management architecture team as a Solution Engineer Manager, providing consulting services across product and delivery teams. You will design and develop solution architectures that meet business requirements while supporting both sales and delivery stages of customer engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Design and coordinate development of standard and complex solutions, including selection of third‑party vendors.
• Support account teams during pre‑contract phases with technical designs, proposals, and qualification.
• Promote SITA’s portfolio through customer meetings, workshops, and up‑to‑date product information.
• Ensure solutions are implemented Right the First Time (RFT) and remain operationally supported.
• Lead and coordinate subject‑matter experts in solution design and implementation.
• Assess new technologies such as AI/ML, biometrics, and identity management for scalability and growth.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of experience in IT, telecom, or air‑transport technology, preferably in a pre‑sales or lead architect role.
• BS‑level technical degree or equivalent engineering experience.
• Proven track record delivering technical customer solutions and documenting designs.
• Strong communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
