Steward – Hotel Stewarding Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a Steward (Stewarding Attendant) to join our hotel team within the Accor network. You will ensure the cleanliness and sanitisation of all kitchen and dining equipment while providing proactive support to colleagues and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Operate industrial dishwashers and other kitchen cleaning equipment.
• Clean, sanitise, and organise all dishes, glassware, flatware and kitchen surfaces.
• Maintain a safe, hazard‑free work environment and ensure floors are dry and clear.
• Monitor equipment performance, report any issues and ensure proper maintenance.
• Sort, stack and store cleaned items safely, removing any broken or chipped pieces from circulation.
• Support fellow team members and assist with additional duties as required.

Required profile

• Organised team player with a strong focus on cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Reliability, responsibility and willingness to work night shifts.
• Good interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• No prior experience required; training will be provided.

Required skills

• Industrial dishwasher operation.
• Kitchen cleaning equipment operation.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
