System Administrator – IT & Security Operations

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time System Administrator to join our on‑site team in Amman. The role involves managing and maintaining IT systems, providing technical support, and ensuring network reliability while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to keep systems secure and performant.

Key responsibilities

• Manage firewalls, endpoint security systems, Active Directory, and backup solutions.
• Monitor security alerts and coordinate incident response with the cybersecurity team.
• Apply security patches, updates, and firmware upgrades to servers and network devices.
• Oversee and verify backup procedures to maintain data integrity and ensure recovery readiness.
• Conduct log reviews, configuration audits, and access control inspections.
• Coordinate cybersecurity efforts across various locations.
• Generate monthly security and compliance reports.
• Assist with integrating new security monitoring tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years experience in cybersecurity and infrastructure management.
• Proven proficiency in system administration, including server environments and operating systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical support abilities for diagnosing and resolving system and user issues.
• Experience in network administration, managing configurations, firewalls, and security measures.
• Knowledge of network security, endpoint protection, backup systems, and incident response.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
