Accountant – Finance & Accounts

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Accountant to join our Finance & Accounts team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the month‑end and year‑end closing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
• Prepare and process invoices, payment requests, purchase orders and other financial documents.
• Perform bank, cash and supplier reconciliations.
• Monitor outstanding payments and receivables, following up as needed.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Create and maintain general ledger entries with supporting documentation.
• Support payroll‑related financial records and employee expense reimbursements.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax return preparation.
• Provide documentation for internal and external audits.
• Track project expenses, petty cash and other company expenditures.
• Coordinate with suppliers, clients, banks and internal departments on financial matters.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of all accounting records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
