Accountant – Finance Team

About the role

Join JTI’s Finance team as an Accountant, responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day‑to‑day financial operations. You will work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure smooth month‑end closings and compliance with internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily accounting transactions in line with established procedures and support month‑end closing activities.
• Manage accounts receivable and cash processes, including reconciliations, collections monitoring, master data maintenance and quarterly balance confirmations.
• Support accounts payable by maintaining vendor master data, processing invoices, coordinating payments and performing supplier account reconciliations.
• Identify risks, resolve issues and escalate non‑compliance to ensure adherence to internal controls.
• Prepare tax‑related reporting in collaboration with stakeholders and assist with statutory and financial audits.
• Lead ad‑hoc finance projects and other tasks assigned by the Finance Manager.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting or Finance; CMA or CPA qualification is a plus.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience in a FMCG environment, preferably within an international organization.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Effective communication skills in English and Arabic.
