Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our Finance team in Al Qastal Industrial Area, Amman. The role involves supporting daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports while ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions accurately and promptly in the accounting system.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and other financial records.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Maintain organized financial documentation and records.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve accounting and financial matters.
• Review expense reports for policy compliance.
• Prepare schedules and documentation required for audits.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Very good command of written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Experience with accounting software (ERP experience is an advantage).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
