Agency Sales Specialist

About the role

MetLife Jordan is seeking an Agency Sales Specialist to promote its insurance products through agency channels. This full‑time, on‑site position in Amman involves meeting prospective and existing customers, supporting agents in closing sales, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Identify sales opportunities and generate leads within the agency network.
• Conduct product presentations and follow up on leads to drive conversions.
• Assist agency staff with product knowledge, sales techniques, and compliance standards.
• Prepare regular reports on sales activities, performance metrics, and pipeline status.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer issues and ensure smooth policy issuance and servicing.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Proven sales experience, preferably in insurance or financial services, including lead generation, negotiation and closing.
• Capability to train and coach agency partners on products and sales methods.
• Sales‑management skills such as performance monitoring, goal setting and target achievement.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance or a related field is advantageous.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.

Required skills

• Familiarity with CRM or sales‑management tools.
