Arabic Teacher

About the role

Amman Academy, an IB World School in Jordan, is seeking a qualified Arabic Teacher to join its bilingual English‑Arabic programme. The successful candidate will deliver Arabic language instruction to students from Pre‑Kindergarten through Grade 12, supporting the school’s commitment to educational excellence and cultural diversity.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Arabic language lessons across all year groups in a bilingual IB curriculum.
• Prepare and assess student work in accordance with IB standards.
• Participate in school‑wide activities that promote the AA Values of creativity, integrity, well‑being, collaboration, respect, discipline and educational excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language.
• Minimum two years of experience teaching within the International Baccalaureate framework.
• Strong communication skills and high levels of organization and time‑management.
• Alignment with the school’s AA Values.

Required skills

• Solid IT skills.
