Area Sales Manager - Cement Additives

About the role
Saint-Gobain is looking for an Area Sales Manager to drive the growth of its cement additives portfolio. You will act as the primary commercial contact for cement plants, combining sales expertise with technical support to deliver tailored solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cement plant stakeholders.
- Identify customer needs and propose customized solutions in coordination with the technical team.
- Generate qualified leads, develop new business opportunities and manage the full sales cycle.
- Negotiate and close deals while ensuring timely payment collection.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences and other marketing events.
- Perform industrial trials, provide technical follow‑up and support product approval processes.
- Prepare sales, market trend and industrial trial reports; keep the CRM updated with accurate customer data.
- Track daily sales actions and ensure prompt communication on technical and commercial requests.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Process, Chemical, Mechanical or related).
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the cement sector.
- Solid technical knowledge of cement grinding processes; experience with cement additives is a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
- Ability to work independently and travel as required.
