About the role

The Assistant Welcome Office Manager supports the Front Office Manager in delivering seamless guest experiences at a busy hotel in Amman. This full‑time position oversees daily front‑office operations, including bell staff, switchboard, and guest services, ensuring smooth check‑in and check‑out processes.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coach front‑desk, bell, and switchboard teams, stepping in to perform duties when needed.
• Monitor daily operations to maintain service standards and resolve guest complaints promptly.
• Collaborate with the Front Office Manager to set and track performance goals, using guest feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Recognize and reward employee performance across all shifts, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Ensure accurate financial handling of front‑office transactions and contribute to departmental financial performance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of guest‑service or front‑desk experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on honesty, integrity, and leading by example.
• Ability to handle conflicts, negotiate solutions, and maintain guest satisfaction.
