Associate Director, Financial Reporting

About the role

Hikma Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Associate Director, Financial Reporting to lead the financial reporting function for its US operations. You will work within a collaborative culture that values innovation, caring, and teamwork, supporting the company’s mission to improve access to medicines.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end financial reporting for US operations, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timeliness in line with IFRS and Hikma policies.
• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual close processes for US entities, reviewing balance‑sheet reconciliations, journal entries and financial analyses.
• Lead, develop and manage a team of nine finance professionals, setting objectives, performance expectations and development plans.
• Serve as primary finance partner to US‑based business leaders, providing insightful analysis, commentary and recommendations.
• Maintain strong financial governance, internal controls and compliance with pharmaceutical industry regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process automation, standardisation and enhancements to finance‑related systems and reporting tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing close processes and financial reporting for US entities.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and internal control frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop finance teams.
• Excellent analytical skills with the capacity to provide actionable financial insights.
