Associate – Indirect Tax & Technology Assets

About the role

PwC is seeking an Associate to join its Indirect Tax practice within Tax and Legal Services. The role focuses on technology‑related assets and indirect tax matters for clients across the Middle East, helping them navigate customs and tax obligations in multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on local and overseas customs and indirect tax affairs.
• Support audit and dispute resolution engagements.
• Develop cost‑saving strategies and digital customs solutions.
• Contribute to strategic projects for customs and trade authorities in the region.
• Build and maintain meaningful client relationships.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate or 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Ability to work in ambiguous situations and ask insightful questions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Understanding of indirect tax concepts and customs regulations.
• Proficiency in data interpretation to support recommendations.
• Familiarity with professional and technical standards in tax advisory.
