Audit & Assurance Associate – External Audit (Jordan)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an Associate to join its Audit & Assurance practice in Amman, Jordan. You will work on external audit engagements, supporting clients across various industries while developing a solid foundation in audit methodology and risk assessment.

Key responsibilities

• Build trust with stakeholders by understanding their service expectations and delivering high‑quality audit services.
• Interpret regulatory requirements and risk‑management frameworks to shape audit procedures.
• Adapt audit templates and referral instructions to define the scope and focus of each engagement.
• Liaise with on‑shore and off‑shore Centres of Excellence, ensuring accurate and complete information exchange.
• Track deliverables from component auditors and integrate risks, controls, and findings into the audit file.
• Articulate audit quality milestones and contribute to the overall audit quality framework.
• Prepare documentation that anticipates reviewer questions and clearly distinguishes accounting from auditing judgments.
