Chemical Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a qualified and detail‑oriented Chemical Analyst to join our laboratory team in Sahab, Jordan. The analyst will perform chemical analyses on agricultural and veterinary products, raw materials, in‑process and finished goods, ensuring compliance with GMP, ISO and internal quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and document chemical analyses in accordance with approved GMP and ISO procedures.
• Analyze agricultural and veterinary registration samples in coordination with the R&D department.
• Test incoming raw material samples and finished product samples for quality evaluation.
• Conduct stability testing, in‑process testing, and final product testing as required.
• Prepare and handle solutions and reagents for chemical analysis.
• Develop and improve analytical methods used in the chemistry laboratory.
• Prepare, update, and revise laboratory SOPs, forms, records, and related documentation.
• Perform any other duties related to the position as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, or a related field.
• Practical experience in chemical analysis and quality control, preferably in pharmaceutical, agricultural, or veterinary industries.
• Good knowledge of GMP, ISO requirements and laboratory practices.
• Ability to operate and work with various chemical analytical instruments and techniques.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and commitment to laboratory quality and safety procedures.

Required skills

• Operation of ICPE / ICP‑OES instruments and elemental analysis.
• Use of diverse chemical analytical instruments and techniques.
• Preparation of solutions and reagents for laboratory testing.
• Accurate documentation of laboratory results and records.
